Orvill Pierce French of Malvern, formerly of Sheridan passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1994 in Hot Spring County Memorial Hospital in Malvern, at the age of 84. He was born Dec. 30, 1909 in Merta, Texas, the son of Ernest Pierce and Annie Lou Wright French, he was retired from Fox Lumber Company in Sheridan, a Baptist and a WWII Army Veteran.
Survivors include one brother, E. P. French of Corsicana, Texas and one sister, Earnestine Stafford of Lake Whitney, Texas.
Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. The Rev. Vernon Bass officiated.
