Agnes Bass Haynes died March 10, 2012. Born July 13, 1908 in Mississippi, she was the daughter of Mathilda and Homer Bass. She was the widow of Charles Claggett Haynes who she married in 1929. Most of her married life was spent in Lake Village, Arkansas and North Little Rock, Arkansas.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Speck and Carolyn Jackson. She had five grandchildren, Ann Burnside (Bob), Win Purifoy, Paige Withers (Tom), Jeff Jackson (Joni), John Jackson and eight great-grandchildren; also three step-grandchildren, Peyton Speck (Rhonda), Bruce Speck, and Susan Sumners and five great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the chapel at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72227. A private graveside service will be held at the Lake Village Cemetery at a later date.
