Douglas Medling son of Victor Stephen Medling and Deloris Medling Tate. Along with her husband Terry Tate. Douglas was born in Salem, Fulton County, Arkansas. He died in Melbourne, Izard County, Arkansas.

Douglas Medling of Melbourne, son of Deloris Medling and the late Victor Stephen Medling, was born on July 25, 1967 at Salem. He died September 18, 2002 at Melbourne. He was 35 years old.
Mr. Medling was formerly a truck driver and was a member of the Mebourne Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Terry and Deloris Tate of Brockwell; one brother, Rodney Medling of Melbourne; two sisters, Michell Walker and Ashley Tate both of Brockwell; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Medling.
Graveside services were held September 21, 2002 at the Wayland-Arbor Cemetery located at Dolph with Lee Clark officiating. Arrangements were by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
