David Troy Rhodes, 67, of Cherry Valley, died Friday at his home of an apparent heart attach. He was born in Vanndale, and had lived all of his life in Cross County. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Elizabeth Patterson Rhodes of the home; three sons, Jimmy Wayne Rhodes of Harrisburg, Ronald Eugene Rhodes of Plano, Texas, and David Ricky Rhodes of Wylie, Texas; one brother, K L Rhodes of Rochelle, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Mayde Wolf of Vanndale and Mrs. Doskie Williams of Rochelle; and six granchildren.
Funeral services will be this afternoon at 3 in the chapel of Kernodle Funeral Home in Wynne, with the Rev. Harrison Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Crosslawn Cemetery in Wynne.
