John M. Stone Dies After Long Illness

John M. Stone, aged 56 one of this section’s most highly respected citizens, died at his home near Dolph, Saturday morning March 6. Mr. Stone had been in critical health for the past several months. He had been a resident of this county the greater part of his life, but was a native of Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Sallie; two sons, Herschel and Elmo Stone and a granddaughter, Diane all of Dolph.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by Rev. W. T. Watson, burial being in Wayland Arbor Cemetery, with the Roller Funeral Service in charge.
