William Linton Atkinson, 68, of Newport died Monday, June 15, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Anthony Atkinson and William Dean Atkinson; two daughters, Trenia Marie Corter and Becky Elizabeth Clark; two half-brothers, James Mansfield and A.Z. Mansfield; four sisters Blanche Henderson, Beatrice Cook, Shelia Loften and Linda Atkinson; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Sandhill Cemetery.
