JORDAN - Services for Bernus Junior Johnson, 77, of Jordan will be 11 a.m. September 17, 2011, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Junior died September 14th.
A laborer, survived by three sons, Mike, Mark and Mitch Johnson.

Funeral Services for Bernus "Junior" Edward Johnson, 77, of Gassville, Arkansas, are pending.
Junior died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Care Manor Nursing Center. He was born April 5, 1934 in Lamar, Arkansas, the son of Bernus Edward and Mildred Wallace Johnson Sr.. He married Barbara Jean Spears on October 5, 1962 at Paso Royles, California and worked as a general laborer. Junior lived in Arkansas 1981 moving from Greenfield, CA. He was the former owner of Sister Creek Resort in Promise Land and enjoyed gardening. He later moved to Jordan and then to Gassville.
Junior is survived by his 3 sons, Mike (Brenda) Johnson of Marshalltown, IA, Mark (Christy) Johnson of Mountain Home, AR, and Mitch Johnson of Gassville, AR; 6 grandchildren, Chad and Lisa Johnson, Cassie (Nick) Gannon, Matt and Mitchell Johnson and Alyssa Byler; 2 great grandchildren, Gemma and Isabella Moody, 1 brother, J.M. (Jewell) Johnson of Malibu, CA and 1 sister, Janice (Bob) Harris of Ft. Smith, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery with Mike Johnson, Mitch Johnson, Nick Gannon, Jerry Foster, Danny Wood, and Robert Parker as pallbearers.
