Geneva Crawford, age 79, a resident of Steve, AR died Saturday, May 16, 1998 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. She was born April 2, 1919 at South Fourche, AR to Samuel and Myrtle (Hardbarger) Jones. She was a retired cattle and poultry farmer and a member of the Steve Church of Christ. She was the widow of Tom Crawford. Also preceding her in death were a grandson, Robbie Crawford; a great-granddaughter, Cassie Christian and a brother, Otis Jones.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Phyllis Crawford of Winnfield, LA and Ronny and Sherry Crawford of Plainview, AR; two daughters and son-in-law, Sharon and Gerald Freemon of Cleveland, AR and Vickie Crawford of Woodlawn, AR; one brother, Laudell Jones of Eugene, OR; six sisters, Bertie Aldridge and Biolet Overby both of Live Oak, CA, Hazel Crawford of Ola, AR, Reba Marshall and Myrtle Tillery both of Steve, AR and Thelma Bankston of Plainview, AR; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was May 18, 1998 at the Steve Church of Christ officiated by Charles Smith and Marty Satterfield. Burial was in the Nooner Cemetery at Steve, AR. Casket bearers were grandsons, Kenny and Tony Crawford, Tommy Wells, Rickey and Randy Crawford and Kirby Hill.
