Citizen of Dolph Passes Away at Age of 91 Years
Hiram McGee, one of this nation’s oldest citizens, died Thursday, April 7, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marvin Bell, near Dolph. He was 91.
Mr. McGee spent practically all his life in the vicinity of Dolph, where he was engaged at farming for many years. His wife preceded him in death by eight years.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Laura Bell of Dolph and a son Jacob McGee of Ada, Okla.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Y. Whitfield of Pineville, were held at Wayland Arbor, Sunday afternoon and burial was in Wayland Arbor Cemetery, with the Roller Funeral service in charge of arrangements.
