White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, February 18, 1968:
Laura Bell 87 of Calico Rock, died January 23, 1968 at the Calico Rock Hospital.
She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Izard County for 87 years. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Valley.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Lewis Bell and Ermal Bell, both of Calico Rock; 1 brother, Jacob McGee, Heavner, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren.
Services were held January 25, at Howard Chapel officiated by Leroy Porterfield. Burial was at Wayland Arbor Cemetery, Dolph.
Pallbearers were: Odell Branscum, Dewayne Branscum, Bob Bolding, Kent Carter, Ronnie Hill and Olen Sexton.
