Marcella McDonald
Marcella McDonald, 90, of Strawberry, died Sept. 9, 2011, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.
She had lived in Illinois before moving to Lawrence County 31 years ago. She was a member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.D. McDonald Sr.; and a son, Jerry McDonald Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Vada Smith, Liberty, Mo.; a son, Allen McDonald, Strawberry; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Strawberry with Roger Randolph and Bill Jones officiating. Burial was in Ward Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn.
Pallbearers were Rick Clem, Mike Smith, W.O. Watson, Bill Jones and Rodney Schultz. Honorary pallbearers were Miles Oliver and Greg Crabtree.
