CHEESMAN, Mr. - [from Prairie Creek) Mr. Cheesman of Ozark community was buried at Pace's Chapel cemetery Sunday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by W.N. Israel. Mr. Cheesman's wife was buried here several months ago. It is understood he has one son whom they were unable to locate, having left home only a few days ago to hunt work.

CHESSMAN, E.D. - E.D. Chessman, 75, died at his home 4 miles east of Rogers Wednesday after an illness of 2 years it was learned Friday. Burial will be at Pace Chapel however no date for the funeral has been set pending the arrival of a son, the only survivor. The son, whose home is in South Dakota, left Rogers for his home last week, driving overland, and so far has not been located. If efforts to communicate with the son are unsuccessful the funeral probably will be held Sunday. Arrangements will be in charge of J.W. Bryant.
