Mrs. Woodcock Dies at Rodney Saturday

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Woodcock, one of this section’s most highly respected women died at her home at Rodney, Saturday afternoon, at the age of 76 years.

She was born and reared in this county and practically all of her life was spent in the vicinity of Rodney. She was converted early in life and united with the Methodist church at Wayland Arbor. She was married to Martin Luther Woodcock 49 years ago.

Mrs. Woodcock was the mother of twelve children and is survived by five daughters, as follows: Mrs. Laura Russell of Mountain Home, Mrs. Rose Dewey and Mrs. Mae Hamlet Rodney, Mrs. Elizabeth Stone of Calico Rock and Mrs. Hattie Barwig of San Francisco, Calif.

Funeral services were held at Wayland Arbor Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock, services being conducted by Rev W. T. Watson of this place and Rev Y. Whitfield of Pineville. The Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
