BARTON, Nora - The funeral of Miss Nora Barton took place at the Pace Chapel on Prairie Creek Saturday afternoon, February 10, 1900, Reverend Milo Hobart officiating. Miss Nora was 16 years, 8 months old and a general favorite in that whole community. She requested that all her friends be prepared to meet her in Heaven. Before her death she made request that Bro. Hobart preach her funeral, where and how she wanted to be buried, that Uncle Dean Pace make a prayer at her funeral and many other little matters relative to her departure.
