Otho "Jack" Wade, 82, passed away on June 11, 2007, at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home with his family at his side.

Mr. Wade was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He was retired from Winrock Farms / Winrock International where he worked as an electrician and later as body guard for the Rockefeller family. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ann Wade; a brother and sister-in-law, Lance and Marie Wade; and his parents, E. V. and Stella Wade.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha Louise (Caudell) Wade; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Wade and Ed and Barbara Wade; four daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Troy Chandler, Lynn and Donnie Sims, Tammy and Bill Laymon, and Sharon and Danny Waldo; nine grandchildren, Sandi Ratliff, Danny Wade, Sarah Wood, Aaron Wade, Kristy Wilson, Amanda Chandler, Troy Chandler, Jr., Natalie (Sims) Mardis, and Natalie Laymon; 17 great grandchildren, Sydney and Mia Ratliff, Zachary, Chase, and Terilynn Wade, Emma, Brandon, and Grant Wood, Stella Mardis, Madison and Ty Chandler, Zack and Garrett Prowell, Aisha and Connor Wade, and Alisha and Kelsey Abney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The body was cremated and the funeral is private by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
