September 10, 1889 - June 28, 1967
Mrs. Emma Kendall, aged 77, died Wednesday in a hospital at Magnolia, after a brief illness. She was a former resident of Camden and was a member of White City Baptist Church. Mrs. Kendall is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Homer Shatley of Camden, Mrs. Jim Story, Magnolia, Mrs. Finley Waters, Rosston and Mrs. Philip Barkheimer of Stephens, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia with burial in the Magnolia City Cemetery. (Camden News - June 29, 1967)
