Funeral of Leander Langston Held Sat
Funeral services for Leander J. Langston 70 of Harrison who died Wednesday in a hospital at Denison, Texas, Wednesday of last week were held Saturday at Wayland Arbor, with the Rev. V. R. Kellams officiating. Mr. Langston was born and reared near Iuka and spent most of his life in that vicinity. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include four sons, W. A. Langston of Kansas City, Mo., Samuel Langston of Louisville, Ky., Lewis Langston of Martinez, Calif., and Donald Langston of LaJunta, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Baker of Denison, Texas, Mrs. Delia Jordan of St. Louis, Mo., Ellen May Langston of Hermiston, Oregon and Mrs. Ruth Thompson of Frankfort, Ky.; four brothers and four sisters; 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
