RULEVILLE, Miss -- Barry Ennis Curbow, 54, of Ruleville, Miss, died Tuesday at his home. He was born June 5, 1949, at DeWitt, Ark, a son of the late Lewis Martin Curbow and Jessie Hill Curbow. He was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School. He was in the Navy during the Vietnam War, where he served two tours of duty and received medals for service. He was employed with Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis, Ark, and had served as manager of Williams & Lord Funeral Home of Ruleville since 1988. Survivors include two brothers, Larry Curbow of Hot Springs and Jesse Curbow of Benton, Ark; one sister, Barbara Hegwood of White Hall, Ark; and a caregiver, Roger Turner of Ruleville. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood, Miss, with the Rev Higdon Herrington officiating and military rites performed by the Greenwood American Legion Post 29. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan, Ark. Visitation will be from noon to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Leflore County, 601 Ione St, Greenwood, MS 38930.
