Charles Scott Harper of Little Rock, Ark, was born Oct 20, 1966, at Pine Bluff, the son of Charles Thomas and Mary Kimmer Harper. He was a 1985 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and a 1990 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas.
Scott had served in the United States Army and was senior analyst programmer for Trans-America Worksite Marketing. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and enjoyed cooking and reading. The greatest joy in Scott's life was being "Daddy" to his children, Tyler, Zane, and Zoe.
Mr Harper died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at his parent's home in Sheridan after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 41. Survivors include his children, Tyler, Zane, and Zoe Harper of Little Rock; parents, Charles and Mary Kimmer Harper of Sheridan; brother, David and wife Karen Harper of Wichita, Kan; niece and nephew, Kelsey and Sam Harper of Wichita, Kan
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Rev. David Harper and Rev Brian Kesterson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (870)942-1306.
