SHERIDAN -- Kathryn Booker Courtney, 75, of Sheridan, died Friday at her home. She was born Aug 17, 1929, at Letona, a daughter of the late Dillard M Booker and Geneva Bass Booker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James W Courtney, Sr; one son, James W Courtney, Jr; and one brother, Jimmy Booker. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Massanelli of Pine Bluff and Lee Ann Sebree of Sheridan; one brother, John Booker of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Lequeita Dick of Denham Springs, LA, and Carolyn Tillman of Mobile, AL; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 3 pm Sunday in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan with David Bishop officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at Sheridan.
