Betty Deaton Berry, age 65 of Casa, AR died Friday, December 1, 2000 at her home. She was a daughter of the late William Franklin and Lena Mae Clark Deaton, born May 19, 1935 at Clarendon. She was retired from the University of Memphis and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Casa.
Survivors include her husband Frank Berry; a son, Michael Gordon Berry of Collierville, TN; a daughter, Sharon Berry Shelton of Bartlett, TN; three brothers, W. F. Deaton of Swansboro, NM, Eugene Laxson of Rogers and Billy Jo Samuel of Pea Ridge; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was December 4 at the First Baptist Church at Casa with Rev. William West officiating. Burial was in Fitch Cemetery by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville, AR.
