SHERIDAN -- Jewell Ann Branch Duck, 81, of Sheridan, died Friday at Davis Life Care at Pine Bluff. She was born Jan. 5, 1923, at Russellville, the daughter of the late Isaac Branch and Ollie Peevey Branch.
She was a member of the Sheridan Church of the Nazarene, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary at Pine Bluff.
She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl V. Duck (married 8 Jun 1941). Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Duck and Oscar Duck, both of Pine Bluff, and Danny Duck and Gary Duck, both of Sheridan; four daughters, Geneva Gray and Brenda Hale, both of White Hall, and Sandra Holland and Donna Duck, both of Sheridan; two brothers, Owen Branch of Wooster and Doyne Branch of Cabot; two sisters, Lois Whitaker of Lonoke and Betty Priest of Conway; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan with the Rev. George Crumbly officiating. Burial will be handled by Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan.
