SHERIDAN — Michael Lavern Vanlandingham, 55, of Sheridan, died Saturday at his home. He was born Nov. 21, 1950, at Rustin, La., a son of Ruthelle Jones Vanlandingham Gage of Little Rock and the late Noah Lavern Vanlandingham. He was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan. He was a boiler operator for Trans-America Inc. Other survivors include his wife, Lillian Clement Vanlandingam; one son, Joseph Vanlandingham of Clarksville, Ky.; one daughter, Paula Vanlandingham Ross of Sheridan; his stepfather, James Gage of Little Rock; two brothers, Eddie Vanlandingham of Sheridan and Terry Vanlandingham of Little Rock; three sisters, Becky Johnston of Little Rock, Donna Lee of Arkadelphia and Sandra Vanlandingham of Sherman, Texas; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan with the Rev. John Mooney officiating.
