I first came to the Hardin Cemetery (once known as the Hardin-Porter graveyard; probably originally on or nearby the Porter property) back in 1997. The stone had not been knocked over nor broken then. The death date for Mrs. Frances E. Porter was more legible then = Feb. 18, 1898
