Jerry Wayne Hale, age 62, of Springfield, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, December 24, 2010. He was born May 8, 1948 in Adona, Arkansas, a son of Earnest David Hale and Violet Hubbard Hale. He was a Truck Driver and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Hale of Springfield; daughters, Teresa (Tim) Evans of Formosa; Sylvia Gustavus of Springfield; sons, Charles Hale of Conway; Austin Gustavus of the home; brothers, Joe (Shirley) Hale, and Leon (Doris) Hale all of Adona; David Hale of Conway; and Johnny (Jeanetta) Hale of Rosebud; sisters, Wanda Cossey of Adona, and Linda (Larry) Robrahn of Siloam Springs; grandson, Hunter Gustavus of Perryville, two step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Joe Hale and Bro. C.W. Drye officiating. Burial is at Liberty Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Family will receive friends 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bryan Hale, Greg Hale, Cody Hale, Darrell Hale, Wayne Cossey, and Mark Cossey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ralph Palmer, Wayne Smith, Chris Oakley, and Jack DuVall.
