FAYETTEVILLE — Gladys Mitchell Dodson, 82, of Fayetteville died Aug. 6, 2000.
She was born July 19, 1918, in Whittier to John Sherman and Beulah Byrd Mitchell.
She worked for the Fayetteville public-school system for 22 years: eight years at Ramay Junior High School and 14 years at West Campus Vo-Tech. She was a member of Christ for the World Church in Van Buren for 18 years. She was preceded !n death by her husband, Joe Dobson, in 1966.
Survivors include one daughter, Paulette "Polly" Dodson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Living Faith Pentecostal Church of God with Bobby Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Comb's Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
*Note: stone is in Buckner Cemetery.
