Dennie A. Woodard, 81, 319 School St., Fayetteville, died Dec. 29 in a Huntsville nursing home. He was born May 14, 1898, in Bloomfield, Ky., and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grady Count Woodard of Springdale; one stepdaughter, Mrs. John Sartin of Springdale; one brother, Bill Woodard of Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Jameson of Lebanon, Ind., and Mrs. Liza Osgood of Avalon, Mo.; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Buckner Cemetery with the Rev. Basil Ledford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
