Raymond Logue, 81, of Fayetteville, died Thursday at Washington Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 19, 1909, at San Angelo, Texas. He was the son of Melvin and Flora Mathis Logne. He was retired from the grocery and real estate business, and a life-long resident of the area. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers and a charter member and deacon of the Ridgeview Baptist Church since its inception 34 years ago.

Survivors are his wife, Earle Drake Logue; two sons, Don L. Logue of Richardson, Texas, and Jim R. Logue of Fayetteville; two brothers, Gene Logue of Tulsa, and Afton Logue of Orange, Calif.; two sisters, Vera Logue and Ruth Tweedy, both of Santa Anna, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Jake Drake of Fayetteville; five grandchildren,and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Monday at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville with the Rev. Mitch Odom and Dr. Jerry Ford officiating. Burial is to be in Buckner Cemetery at Fayetteville. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel. Arrangements are by Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church, 1850 Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, 72701.

Earle Drake Logue, 92, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Fayetteville Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 4, 1911, in Baldwin, the daughter of Jacob Jeems and Alice Lewis Drake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Logue, on Feb, 21, 1991.

She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

She is survived by two sons, Don L. Logue and his wife Mary of Richardson, Texas, and Jim R. Logue and his wife Kathryn of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, David P. Logue and his wife Martha, Susan L. Logue, Dawn M. Hill and her husband Clay and Heather L. Walker and her husband Doug and Jacob T. Logue; 10 great-grandchildren, David M. Logue, Jarrod W. Logue, Timothy J. Logue, Megan L. Logue, Nathan Ball, Elizabeth and Caroline Hill and Abigail, Audrey and Annie Walker.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

Pastor Charlie Brown will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's.

Memorials may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church, 1850 Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, 72701.
