FAYETTEVILLE — Raymond C. Maday, 44, of Fayetteville died May 6, 2006, at Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 19, 1961, in California to Robert Leon and Marlene Hanson Maday. He married Sheila McLeory on Feb. 9, 1991. He moved to Fayetteville in 2001 from South Carolina. He worked for Tyson Foods as a manufacturing engineer and was an Army veteran. His interests included hunting, surfing and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Maday of the home; two daughters, Sarah and Madilyn Maday, both of the home; three stepsons, Gabriel Lunsford of San Louis Obispo, Calif., Dalyn Lansford of Ridgecrest, Calif., Christopher Pariscliff of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one brother, Bobby Maday of Malvern; one sister, Michelle Maday.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com. Chaplain Ramiro Lizcano
will officiate.

Burial will follow in Buckner Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Cooper, Darrell Froud, Richard Irvin, Dalyn Lunsford, Gabriel Lunsford, John Stillions, Ron Stagg and Brad Walker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Maday Children Fund at any Bank of America.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Beard's.
