Mrs. Anna Mae Cantrell Spann

Mrs. Anna Mae Cantrell Spann, age 63, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, at her residence.

She was born December 4, 1947, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to William Henry “Buck” and Katherine Addieline “Addie” Clark Wallis. A lifetime area native, she was a member of Arkana Baptist Church, worked at Baxter Regional Medical Center for 37 years as a CNA II, and enjoyed scrapbooking, crafts, spending time with family and going to church. She was a very selfless person, always putting others’ needs before her own.

She is survived by her husband and loving companion of 31 years, Phillip E. “Red” Spann who she married on July 16, 2011; a son: Jody (Tonia) Cantrell: Norfork; two daughters: Kathy Hellums and Patty Cantrell: both of Mountain Home; two brothers: Tommy (Norma) Clark: Tulsa, Oklahoma; and J.C. (Lavon) Wallis: Calico Rock; a sister: Johnnie (Rob) Audeoud: Mountain Home; five grandchildren: Justin, Brittney, Anna, Jake and Addie; and a great-granddaughter: Brooklynn Mae; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Joyce Gray, Zelda Williams and Paggie Jones.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the Roller Chapel with Brother Tom Stover and Brother Eldon Hellums officiating. Interment will follow in Arkana Cemetery.
