THARP, John - John Tharp died Wednesday morning at 1:30 o'clock at the home of his parents in this city at the age of 31 years. He has been a patient sufferer for several months with consumption and during that time he had the watchful care of a loving wife, fond parents, brothers and sisters and everything possible was done to alleviate his suffering. John was born and raised in this neighborhood and his sorrowing relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of the while community. The funeral services were held from the residence today and the remains were laid to rest in the Tharp cemetery west of the city.

John Tharp, son of Moses Tharp of Fayetteville, died Tuesday evening of consumption. Deceased is 33 years of age and leaves a wife and numerous other relatives.
