Virginia Lee Wise McGhee, age 71, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010. She was born March 18, 1938, in Satuma, Arkansas, a daughter of Fred Wise and Martha Davis Wise. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband Aubrey McGhee of Jacksonville; sons, Darrell McGhee of Jacksonville, and David McGhee of Louisiana; daughter, Cindy McGhee of Jacksonville; brothers, Kenneth Wise of Bigelow, and Loy Wise of Little Rock; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel McGhee.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, at Thornburg Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Corder officiating. Burial will be at Thornburg Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to service time.
