Mrs. Linda Kay Pratt Skinner, 21, of 2209 Lakeland St., died in a local hospital Thursday morning following a sudden illness. Mrs. Skinner was a graduate of El Dorado High School, attended Southern State College and was a graduate of the Paramount Beauty School. She was a member of the Parkers Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Skinner was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Little Rock, the daughter of J. Nolan and Carnell Kitchens Pratt. She had been a resident of El Dorado for the past 11 years. Survivors include her husband, Millard Howard Skinner; one son, Howeard Nolan Skinner; her mother, of El Dorado; and one sister, Miss Sarah Pratt of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Parkers Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. W. W. Barron officiating and Rev. Jerry Wilson assisting. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. (El Dorado Daily News - May 5, 1967)
