Angus Fletcher, 83, of Ola, AR, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. The son of George and Angie Tucker Fletcher, he was born February 12, 1925 in Saline County, AR. Angus was a timber worker and a member of the Ola First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Opal May Stimpson Fletcher; two brothers, Ruby Sullens & Allen Fletcher.
Survivors include a son, J.E. Fisher & wife Kathy of Ola; a Granddaughter, LaRhanda Ortiz & husband Alex of Ola; two great Grandchildren, Garret & Jessalyn Curtis both of Ola.
The family will be having a private burial. Viewing will be Monday from 6-8p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Service.

Opal May Fletcher, 91, of Ola, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Dardanelle Hospital. The daughter of Bill and Emma Stimpson, she was born January 22, 1916 in Plainview. She married Angus Fletcher, on October 17, 1953 at Plainview, Arkansas and was a member of the Ola First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Angus Fletcher of Ola; a son, , J.E. Fisher & wife, Kathy of Ola; a granddaughter, LaRhanda Curtis of Ola; two great grandchildren, Garrett and Jessalyn Curtis of Ola; two Sisters, Erma Thomas of Little Rock, Glenna Johnson of Benton; a brother, Bill Stimpson of Thornburg.
Graveside will be at 2 PM Monday, April 30, 2007 at Thornburg Cemetery in Perry County. Burial will be by Humphrey Funeral Service. Viewing of the body will be from 1-5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
