Martha Ann was born June 27,1832 in Union County, South Carolina. Her parents' were Jeffery Palmer & Elizabeth Martha Reaves. In 1849 Martha Ann R. Palmer & James Patterson Beard were married in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
They are Edna Beard Cromwell's parents'.
