Bernard "Bernie" Lee Johnson husband of Katherine Louise "Kaye" (Nickerson) Johnson. Bernard "Bernie" Lee Johnson son of Riley L Johnson and Clarice E (Williams) Johnson. Bernie was born in Greenwood, Sebastian County, Arkansas and died in Arkansas.

Bernard “Bernie” L. Johnson of Dolph, son of the late Riley and Clarice Williams Johnson, was born February 14, 1927 in Greenwood. He died August 27, 1996. He was 69.
Mr. Johnson was united in marriage to Katherine Nickerson August 26, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Johnie Johnson of Dolph and Charles Johnson of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Nova Lowry of Dolph and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Pallbearers were Charles Allen Sanders, Clarence Lowry, Donald Lowry, Troy Lowry, Clint Rhine and Robert Rhine.
Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Sanders, Bill Davis, Arthur Langston, and Junior Owens.
Interment was at the Dolph Baptist Cemetery in Dolph under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Disabled Veterans.
