Donald Eldridge "Jar" McClellan son of William John McClellan and Cora Elizabeth (Thrasher) McClellan. Vida Ardeen (Sanders) McClellan daughter of William Ray Sanders and Nealie E (Ross) Sanders. Donald was born in Pineville, Izard County, Arkansas and died Springfield, Greene County, Missouri.

The White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, August 6, 1970:

Vida Ardean McClellan age 44 passed away in Baxter County hospital on August 1. She was a resident of Dolph.

Survivors include her husband Donald of the home; two sons, Billy Rex of Mountain Home and Dennis of the home; three daughters, Marilyn Mathis of Violet Hill, Nonna Gulley of Gardress, Kansas and Judy of the home; four grandchildren; five half-sisters and one half-brother.

Services were August 3 at the Camp Grounds Church with Rev. Remmel Rowden officiating. Burial was in Wayland Cemetery by Howard Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jesse Trotter, Cecil Smith, Woodrow McClellan, Floyd Dockins, Guy Dockins and John Henderson.

Note: Burial was in the Dolph Baptist Cemetery.
