Jimmie Dale Sanders of Pineville, son of the late Ernest Sanders and Lona Melinda Hively Sanders died Wednesday, August 19, 1992 at the Calico Rock Medical Center at the age of 56. He was born February 15, 1936 in Dolph.

Sanders was married to Donna Whited on March 14, 1964 in Kansas City, Mo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked at Aeroquip Manufacturing Company. Sanders was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife Donna of the home; three daughters, Carla Vredenburg of Ludowici, Ga., Cindy Gillaspie of Sidney and Stephanie Sanders of Dolph; one sister, Faye Neal of Dolph; one brother, Todd Sanders of Calico Rock; four grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, August 21, 1992 at 2 p.m. at the Dolph Baptist Church in Dolph with Reverend Mike Downing officiating.

Pallbearers were Rex Dockins, Rick Sanders, Wade Sanders, Steve Neal, Ed Foster and Ken Sanders.

Interment was in the Sanders Memorial Cemetery in Dolph under the direction of the Howard Funeral Home of Calico Rock.
