Jack Woodvin Taylor, 71, of Aplin, Arkansas, died May 22, 2011, after a long and very hard fought battle with cancer. Jack was a very loving husband and father and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Aplin Church of Christ.
He was born February 12, 1940 in Little Rock to the late Anna Buddenburg Taylor Odom and is survived by his father Woody Taylor. He is also survived by the love of his life, his wife of thirty four years, Karen Robinson Taylor of Aplin; the lights of his life, daughters Tina Taylor Grady (Noah) and Franque Gail Bradshaw (Mike) both of Mayflower; half sisters, Sandy Garner, Loretta Sullens, Sharon Taylor, and very special friends, Bill and Deniece Lawrence.
A very special thanks to Dr. Brad Baltz and his wonderful staff at Hematology Oncology Services of Arkansas and the doctors and nurses at MICU at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at Aplin Church of Christ with Mr. Charles Smith officiating . Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the funeral home in Morrilton. Pallbearers will be Bill Lawrence, Ken Isbell, Michael Robinson, Doug Ruff, Clay Loestcher, and Ray Loestcher.
