Syble Parham, age 79, of Russellville, died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at the Russellville Nursing Center. A daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Winnie Elizabeth McCabe Parham, she was born January 26, 1924, in Perry County, Arkansas. She was retired from St. Mary's Regional Medical Center where she had worked for over thirty years as a dietitian, attended First Assembly of God Church in Russellville and was a member of the Assemblies of God Women's Ministries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Gerold Aaron Parham and James Harold Parham, and an infant brother; and a sister, Lillian Rena Parham. Survivors include a brother, Carrol Parham of Russellville; and numerous nephews and nieces and cousins.
Funeral will be 10 A.M., Monday, June 30, 2003, at the Shinn Chapel with Rev. William Canard officiating. Burial will be in Fowler Cemetery near Adona, Arkansas, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, from 3 to 4 P.M., at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Senior Specialist Hospice, 1310 West Main Street, Suite A, Russellville, Arkansas 72801.
