Ina Clotean Moore, age 83, of the Rose Creek Community, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, Arkansas. Her death came after a bout with pneumonia followed by a stroke. She was of the freewill Baptist faith.
Clotean was born May 26, 1926, a daughter of Sam Houston Cody and Bertha Irene Hamilton Cody. She lived her entire life in the Rose Creek Community of Perry County. She married J.D. Moore on March 25, 1946, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1999.
In addition to her husband and parents Clotean was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruby and three brothers, Lonzo, A.C., and George Cody. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Earl and Beverly and Jackie and Jerri of the Rose Creek Community and Bearl and Laretta of Valley Springs. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Bobby, Shelby, Kevin, Randy, Scott, Tim, Becky, Samantha and Melanie; fourteen great-grandchildren, and a multitude of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Tanner officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
