*Obituary
Elbert Ridenour, 80, of Winslow, died March 17 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1892 in Winslow, the son of Ira and Janie Jones Ridenour.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Mary E. Ridenour of home; two sons Fred of Rudy and Elwood of Susanville, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Ophelia Sakis, of Lakewood, Calif.; Mrs. Irma Malott of Garden Grove, Calif. And Miss Inez Ridenour of Winslow; two sisters Mrs Vivanne Tesament of Van Buren and Mrs Vironie Arnold of Rudy; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday in the Freedom Church in Chester, wih burial in Freedom Cemetery under direction of Nelson’s Funeral Home.
