SIMPSON, "Uncle Jack" - {from The Fayetteville Daily} "Uncle Jack" Simpson died at 11:15 Tuesday forenoon at the home of his son-in-law, G.W. Nixon, at Prairie Grove. He was 81 years and 19 days old. Had been a resident of what is now Washington County for seventy-one years. He had never had a serious illness in his life until a few weeks ago when latent bladder trouble developed. This malady was the direct cause of his death. He was highly esteemed and with him another land mark has gone.
