Son of Thomas Jefferson Lovelace, Sr. & Mary Ann Todd Lovelace.

Thos. J. Lovelace of Cross Roads Dead
Thos. J. Lovelace, one of this section's most highly respected citizens, died at his home at Cross Roads Sunday. He had been in declining health for several weeks.
Deceased was 78 years of age and had been a citizen of this county about 40 years. He was a native of Tennessee. His wife preceded him in death by several years. Several grown children survive, among them being Jeff and Harman Lovelace and Mrs. Jas. Dockins of the Cross Roads community, Mrs. Ray Greer and Mrs. Arthur Hively of Oklahoma. Mr Lovelace was a devout member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday, with the Revs. D. E. Steely and J. M. Rush officiating.
Interment was at Wise's Chapel cemetery, the McClure Funeral Home being in charge of arrangements
