Mrs. Betty Lovelace Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Betty Lovelace, wife of Uncle Tom Lovelace of Crosse Roads, died suddenly at her home last Monday morning, as the result of a heart attack. She and Mr. Lovelace were sitting at home when she was stricken.
Mrs. Lovelace was born June 15, 1859. She was 76 years and 10 months old. In early life she was converted and joined the Missionary Baptist Church and had lived a faithful member since.
She was married to Uncle Tom Lovelace in 1895. To this union was born three children; Harmon Lovelace of Wideman; Ruth Hively of Oklahoma; Maude Boss of Oklahoma; several grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
Funeral services were conducted by D. A. Hively and Y. Whitfield at Wise Chapel Cemetery.
