Charlotte Fern Boren
YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Charlotte Fern Boren, 81, of Michigan died Monday in Michigan.
Born in Ravenden she lived most of her life in Lawrence county having lived in Michigan in the past five years. She was a homemaker and a food service caterer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Waymon and Zanna Clements Holder; a husband, Clyde Boren; a sister, Judy Hall; and an infant brother and sister.
She is survived by sons, John Boren of Lincoln Park, Mich., Clyde Boren, Jr. of Harrison and Donald Boren of Livionia, Mich.; three daughters, Carolyn Hilyer of Luddington, Mich., Tammy Celmo of Whitmore Lake, Mich. and Kathy Phelps of Jensen Beach, Fla.; sister, Merle Roberson of Walnut Ridge; brothers, Cloyce Holder of Tennessee, Billy Holder of Strawberry and Durward Holder of Saffell; 9 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in House-Gregg Funeral Home at Walnut Ridge with Gwen Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery of Black Rock. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
