Rosa Vaccari Penney 90, of North Little Rock, died Monday, March 6, 2006. She was born in Caspien, Michigan January 20, 1916. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Raymond Vaccari and a sister, Irma Belotti. She is survived by her husband of 65 years and 3 days, James A. Penney, Sr. of North Little Rock; a son, James A. Butch Penney, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Roland; a daughter, Phyllis A Penney, Ed.D. of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, James A. Jim Penney, III, D.D.S. and his wife, Wendy and Melissa L. Penney Moore; greatgrandchildren, Ronald J. Moore, Jr., Mitchell T. Moore, Katherine A. Penney, and James A. Jake Penney, IV all of Roland; sisters, Brunetta Crosariol and Olga Dal Santo and her husband, John Dal Santo all of Little Italy; and numerous nieces and nephew. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church attending St. Anne's Parish in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the charity of your choice. The Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, North Little Rock, 7581170. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8th at St Francis Catholic Church in Little Italy, Arkansas with burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
