October 15, 1913 - April 7, 1967
Mrs. Julia Sargent died in Los Angeles, Calif. The body will arrive in El Dorado Wednesday. Her Survivors include her husband, Fess Sargent, California; one brother, Roosevelt Lee, El Dorado; one sister, Mrs. Hannah Culp, Shreveport, La. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Sweet Canaan Baptist Church, Smackover, Rev. J. H. Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. (El Dorado Daily News - April 11, 1967)
