February 24, 1938 - April 30, 1972
John Curtis White, 34, of the Old Wire Road died at his home at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, apparently as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was a member of the Methodist church and a carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Linda Boyer White, a son, Johnny, and two daughters, Rebecca and Alisa, all of the home; his father, Curtis T. White of Camden; two brothers, Don White of Little Rock and Thurmon White stationed in Germany; a sister, Mrs. Clifford West of Little Rock, and a grandmother, Mrs. Anna Lee Roberson of Stephens. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be at Bethesda Cemetery. (Camden News - May 17, 1972)
