William A. "Billy" Walters, 23, went peacefully to the Lord on February 10, 2008.
Billy was born March 26, 1984, in United Hospital, Grand Forks, to parents William and Pamela (Peters) Walters. He joined a sister, Aimee, at home and was followed shortly by another sister, Sarah. As a child, Billy moved to various places with his family including Fort Smith, Arkansas, Rapid City, SD, Minot, Devils Lake, and Tolna, ND.
His childhood was filled with softball, basketball and any kind of video game. The family moved to Grafton, ND in 2001 where Billy met his first and true love, Nikki. He graduated from Grafton High School in 2002, and then later moved to Grand Forks. The pride of his life, son Jace Robert William Walters, was born January 24, 2006 after which Billy and Nikki moved to Fargo. Billy and Jace were at his parents visiting at the time of his death.
Billy was preceded in death by his grandfather, A. L. Walters.
Billy is survived by his parents, William and Pamela Walters, Grand Forks, grandparents Leonard and Linda Peters, Devils Lake, ND, and Meirl Walters, Calico Rock, Arkansas, sisters Aimee Pladson and Sarah (Jeff) Foucault, Grand Forks, his very special friend, Nicollette Desautel, and son Jace, Fargo, nephew Tate Steven Foucault, born February 10, 2008, who Billy was anxiously awaiting the arrival of, but never got to meet, uncles Jarret Peters, Williston, ND, Jimmy (Shelley) Walters, Clairemont, OK, aunts Deb (Jason) Nelson, Bismarck, ND, Patty (Benny) Passmore, Mt. Home, Arkansas, Missy (Greg) McGowen, Pineville, Arkansas and Diana (Noel) Morehead, Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by many cousins and extended aunts and uncles.
Family Greeting: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 in the Gregory J. Norman-Norman Funeral Home, So. Washington St. Grand Forks, ND.
Interment: At a later date.
